So Many Uses
I love Vaseline because it has so many uses for helping your skin. It works as a moisturizer, and does a great job on lips when they are really chapped. It is also great for reducing your under eye puffiness in the morning and removing makeup. Works for everything

Use sparingly
I have learned to love this product. Vaseline is my go to when I have no mascara or don't want to use the waterproof one. I simply take an eyeliner brush and sweep it in the Vaseline and then sweep it again on my lashes. I also use it during the winter instead of a hand cream. Never have liked it, don't think I ever will
Absolutely hate the texture and feel of this product. It's Vaseline!
I feel like a tub of Vaseline should be in every home. It's pretty useful; it brings relief when my hands crack in the winter and lotion just stings, it works as both a lip gloss and eye make up remover. Vaseline Petroleum Jelly
I was invited to do a test drive for Vaseline by Totalbeauty. I wasn't sure which Vaseline product I was going to try out to review, and then I received my box of goodies. When I opened the box, I had to smile. Vaseline Petroleum Jelly has been something I have seen in my grandmother's, my mother's, and now my medicine chest. I have been using Vaseline for as long as I can remember for so man...read morey things because it is so effective for so many things. I live in Michigan, born in Saulte Ste. Marie. As a child, my mom smeared it on my face, lips, and hands when I went out to play in the winter. My grandmothers both would use it on me for minor skin irritation as well as protection. As an adult, it is still my go to product for my hands and cuticles at night as well as my feet. In the winter, I smooth it all over my body after my bath or shower to keep dry skin at bay. I always have a small pot of it in my hand bag for my lips and hands. I use it on my knees and elbows to keep them from being dry, and after shaving my legs, it soothes. I don't ever get razor burn. Included in the box of goodies was a large Vaseline tub with cards that had many hints, and I have tried the hints I never thought about using Vaseline for. I mixed the Sea Salt with the Vaseline to create a scrub, and my skin was so smooth after that I plan on doing it instead of buying a premixed salt scrub for exfoliation from now on. I also put it on my hands and put a pair of lightweight gloves on before I put my gardening gloves on. It's like a mini spa treatment when I get finished with my gardening. I also do the same thing when I do dishes, Vaseline, white cotton gloves, and then my rubber gloves. The heat from the dish water really makes the moisturizing action more effective. I can't imagine not having a tub of Vaseline in my home ever. Three generations of women in my family have used it, and it hasn't let me down yet. Even though I am reviewing it for humans, my vet told me to put it on the pads of my dogs paws in the winter to protect from the cold as well as salt. I have to say my girls have the softest pads on their paws as well. They haven't had ice melt burns on their paws since I started doing this, and their pads don't crack from the extreme cold either. Vaseline has so many uses, and you can't beat the price for all of the things you can use it for. What's Not To Love?!
I got a sample to try from Total Beauty and I have to admit to having forgotten how much I love Vaseline and how versatile it is. I've been putting it on my feet at night and pulling socks over it and my feet are now so soft! I also put it around my nose and eyes at night because of the endless nose blowing from my allergies. It also makes my lips really soft. Love Vaseline
Love this product. I am never without a jar of vaseline. It's the perfect protection. Use it on my dry feet and cover with white socks for the softest feet around. It's a multi purpose moisturizer. lol. vaseline. whats not to love? lips, skin, patent leather shoes, a real go-to for almost anything. and its still like, what, 3$ a pound? oh, i heard you cannot absorb this, and it cannot block pores, it just protects your skin from moisture, in or out, like a barrier. hence the diaper usefullness. and the overnight miracle lip softening. doesnt everybody use this?This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful

Some things are irreplaceable
My Vaseline use goes back about 25 years when my mom used to slather it on my and my sister's faces before we went out to face the cold north east winters. Now I use it on my feet at night with thick socks and on my hands with cotton gloves. It gives me moisture and softness that I've never gotten from lotions, creams, or my nail salon. Its irreplaceable. And now, when my dry skin starts to act up...read more, I mix the Vaseline with some sea salt an use it as a scrub. Needless to say it makes a HUGE difference.
