BURT'S BEES REPLENISHING LIP BALM WITH POMEGRANATE OIL
My new lip balm addiction is Burt's Bees Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil. I've been going through a tube a week, and it's starting to get expensive ~ I love the scent, and the feel on my lips. I live in a warm weather climate, so I cannot comment on whether this will help with chapped, dry lips, but it works well to keep my lips hydrated. Last but not least, a tube of this lip balm fell on the floor, and I caught my little poodle eating a tube. She wouldn't let me take it away from her, and she looked happy and was licking her lips. Now, every time I use this lip balm, she climbs all over me trying to kiss me. I can't even front, I am completely insane for this lip balm! I feel like I can't live without it. It's serious the best I've ever tried. I've been through, like, 12 tubes of this stuff, if not more! Most other chapsticks give me a weird taste in my mouth or are waxy, or don't moisturize well enough... but this is extremely moisturizing, has no taste to me, and I happen to love the smell. I know some people don't, but I find it fruity and refreshing, not bothersome at all. And I'm kind of sensitive to scent usually, but I've never found this unpleasant. And it has the slightest tint, barely perceptible on my pigmented lips, but it's just enough to brighten up my face without looking like I'm wearing anything. And if I wear it to bed, I wake up the next morning with smooth, soft lips. I buy this in bulk for a reason! My new favorite click stick for lip care! It goes on smooth, feels good, and doesn't contain ingredients that I dislike on my lips, such as camphor or menthol. It's one of the few in the BB line that has that tint, though the tint is so faint that it looks completely clear when I try to swatch it on my arm. It does have a kind of waxy feeling so if you don't like that then I def dont suggest this balm. I like it WAY better than EOS (which I own as well, but mainly for the cute packaging). This balm keeps my lips hydrated for the LONGEST TIME. it makes lipstick/gloss application much smoother but I wouldn't say it really fills in the lines on my lips all that well. I love the pomegranate smell and the fact that it lasts forever. Very moisturising and feels natural on the lips!
It just feels like you are doing something good for your lips when you have this lip balm on! It is very moisturising and looks completely natural on your lips. This doesn't have any shine, but more of a silky sheen to it. There is a hint of colour on your lips after you have applied it, but it's so slight that it will suite anyone... It kind of just enhances the natural colour on your lips, but you definitely don't need a mirror when you are putting this on. If you slightly go over the edge of your lips, it will be almost unnoticeable... It smells kind of like honey with chamomile and spices to me... Maybe with a tiny little bit of cinnamon, and on your lips - perfection! Your lips will thank you by looking super sexy and kissable. And YES! It is completely tasteless!!! Hurray!!! I find it so hard to find a treatment for your lips with a bit of colour but no taste, and this one has got it all in my opinion!!! It's a life saviour, plus, it looks very cute. Also, what I noticed about it is that it has a pretty long lasting power as well. When you pass your tongue over it, it kind of feels waxy, but it doesn't look or feel waxy at all. And none of it stays on your tongue after you've touched it, so it kind of feels almost water-proof. It's hard to explain, because there is no waxy feeling on your lips whatsoever. But even touching it with your finger 2 or 3 minutes after you have applied it, you will notice that your finger won't stick to it at all... So all of it remains on your lips for quite a long time... Don't know how they do it, but I found it kind of unusual and definitely beneficial. ;) Would highly recommend to all, unless you hate honey, of course... But then again, if you hated honey you probably wouldn't be reading "Burt's Bees" reviews, since they all have that little bit of honey flavour...
