Not Bad....
This mascara is okay I guess, I'm kind of surprised by all the raving reviews because I don't think that it's that great. It serves the purpose but I don't think I'll go out of my way to purchase it again.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

A Classic

Had high hopes
But was very disappointed. I was looking for a good waterproof mascara and have been happy with other L'Oreal mascaras, so I tried this. The first time I tried it there was barely any mascara on the wand and I wondered if I got a bad tube. The second time I tried it I really had to work the wand around on the tube to get anything on it. When I applied it this time it clumped and was very messy; like other reviewers, I ended up with raccoon eyes. My Go-To Mascara
Original Voluminous is the best mascara I've ever found for both thickening and lengthening my lashes. Occasionally I'll try another highly-rated or recommended product and I always end up running right back to the store for more Voluminous. I purchased this mascara just this past weekend and tried it that evening. I wasn't too thrilled with the volumn aspect that it promises as I didn't really see that much of a difference BUT it did grab every lash and lengthened them which was very nice. Take it from a girl born without those doll-lashes. It works!
I tried this mascara without researching reviews beforehand, and luckily, I made a good choice! Apparently, this stuff is a classic favorite, and I can see why. It really leaves my lashes lush and substantially thicker. I have naturally thin, thin lashes, so I get excited when I discover a drugstore brand that really gives them that "va-va-voom." best drugstore mascara
I purchased the carbon black original formula of this.... AMAZING! The formula from the first swipe is perfect - unlike some mascaras that are brand new can be too watery, the carbon black is the truest black mascara I have ever tried! super black and very lengthening, it also adds a ton of volume. I have long blond lashes with a good curl, but need a ton of volumizing mascara to look full and alm...read moreost fake, this delivers!!!!! The volume this mascara adds is amazing, if anything try it just for the volume, but it is also blacker than most high end mascaras that I have tried (dior, smashbox, lancome, sephora brand, stila). One of my favorites!
This one has always been my go to mascara. I usually buy the curved brush as it really helps lift and curl my lashes. The only criticism I have is that when its new, its a little clumpy at first. To get around that I tissue off the wand just a smidge during the first week or two, and then with a few light coats I have a magnificent, thick curled set of lashes that rival falsies!
