I have acne that's (usually) cleared up, and VERY oily skin. I bought this foundation about a year ago and have used it on and off since then. Finding my color was difficult, all the shades have a tan undertone. I ended up buying two to find the right one and it was still too brown. At the beginning I liked it; having come off mineral foundation with medium coverage this full coverage really impre...read moressed me. But recently it's been failing. Initial application, it looks great. It's harder to blend over larger pores (my nose specifically) but not a deal breaker. However, even though it's supposed to last 24 hours, when I look at myself in the mirror 3-4 hours after application, I'm disgusted! My natural oil has soaked through and it looks like an oil slick. It highlights every blemish on my face. Worst of all, it simply looks like heavy makeup. I also think it clogs my pores; not exactly breaking me out but just causing tiny bumps. Overall I will not purchase again. Lasts 12 Hours!
This found this foundation to be a medium, but buildable coverage. While it doesn't cover all imperfections, it does an excellent job of concealing minor imperfections and masking uneven skin tone. My favorite aspect of this foundation is the length of wear. I have never had a foundation last on my skin for more than 4-5 hours. Revlon's Colorstay foundation managed to look amazing for over 12 ho...read moreurs! This provides decent coverage, but it's hard to blend. I like a creamier foundation. I'm fair and I don't like orangey makeup. The lightest shades are perfect. Forever Hooked
I was thinking about this foundation for days, even had it in a dream last night. I read the reviews, and majority were great. I then saw a total beauty article where this was featured as a great foundation for those with oily skin. I knew I had to get it. I am amazed! I applied this over my BB cream and it quickly zapped up my oil that was started to come through. I look fresh faced and was shocked the color actually matched perfectly! Love It!!
I love this foundation. Although I am a MAC girl, this product is ALMOST as good as ProLongwear. The reason that I say 'almost' is because I can't find my true color match. I think I'll end up having to mix two different shades. But bc I have extremely oily skin, I've done a lot of trial and error with different foundations. This product works like a dream with Urdan Decay deSlick Setting Spr...read moreay and Monistat Chaffing Cream as a primer. (I know it sounds weird but it contains the same primary ingredient, dimethicone, that high end primers contain.) Cakey and oily
I tried this after reading the reviews on this site, and was very disappointed. I only used a tiny bit of this, and it still went on thick and cakey. And it never even dried when I applied it. Best for oily skin

Ol' Reliable
I am open to trying new products and I always have my eye open for new foundations... Alas, I never find one that matches the coverage and longevity of Colorstay! I like a fuller coverage and this foundation gives me just that without feeling heavy.
