INCREDIBLY SILKY AND EFFECTIVE

It works beautifully with mineral foundation, but I've been using it with my Lancôme Dual Finish Compact Foundation because the coverage is seamless. Your makeup is not apparent at all, but you are left with a radiant glow. This is fantastic for applying a microfinish HD powder to conceal wrinkles, keep oil at bay, and set your foundation. It is excellent for use to completely and flawlessly blend blush so that it looks completely natural or contour your face with darker colors to highlight cheekbones. I have washed my brush and dried it several times, but the hairs stay intact. Great, but no longer looks like the one pictured here!
ELF's Studio Kabuki brush is great! I do think that it's important to note that it no longer looks like the one pictured on this page. It is ...read moreextremely fluffy, very soft, doesn't shed at all, perfect for loose powders, perfect for light powder coverage, but you can stipple with it as well if you need a bit more coverage. You can also use it to blend your blush and contouring products; it is soft enough to leave all in place and just blend it enough to give you that flawless look. It's just very versatile and easy to use. I swear, it's so soft, you won't believe it. I just couldn't stop touching it in the beginning. So I really love everything about it, and I honestly can't believe that I've used it every day for the last month and a half, and it hasn't shed a single hair. I have spend a lot of money on brushes, and have some higher end kabuki brushes, which hasn't been praised by me nearly as much as this ELF's Kabuki brush. And by the way, if you are planning on purchasing a few things from ELF, and you are making that purchase on their website, if you don't see a sale going on, give it a couple of weeks and you are guaranteed to get at least 25% off your purchase. Fab blending brush!
I was watching a makeup tutorial online and they were using a kabuki brush as a blending tool which I thought was a great idea! To be honest, before then I didn't know if I would ever need this brush and now I am completely obsessed.
