It worked better back in the day
I used to use Arrid Extra, Extra Dry back in the day, in middle school. It had been years since I had used it and I have been on a mission for an effective deodorant so I decided to give it a whirl. I've always been a fan of spray deodorants. They smell great and feel really cooling, especially during the sweltering summer. I read that any deodorant is more effective if you put it on at night time...read more and that's usually when I shower, so that's when I tried it. It seemed to work overnight, although I was sleeping and not doing much else. I woke up dry and feeling fresh. I added a couple of spritzes in the morning. I am an active person and I work in a classroom so I am definitely in the hot seat and Arrid Extra Extra Dry did not live up to it's name. I had visible sweat rings on my shirt and my underarms were pretty damp. I did like the price and the smell, but as far as it doing it's job, it didn't. I have tried several clinical strength and mens deodorants with unsuccessful results, so it could be that I just sweat excessively. Still it did not leave me feeling confident and I almost thought about carrying the big can in my purse, then I decided not to.
