    hard to use

I have used mascara for 20 years because my lashes are very short and thin, I liked the telescoptic mascara with the other wand, so I figured this one wopuld really be beneficial to me because it could get the outer lashes, well, it did, but it clumps horribly and I have stabbed myself twice in the eye, if your lashes are longer it might be better for you, but it didn't work well for me.

    Love it!

The round brush forces you to put your mascara on a different way and because of that the lashes don't come together in one clump. You can fan your lashes out and it reaches each individual lash. I've had no problems with the mascara clumping. It does take some extra time to put on but the results are well worth it. I've had people comment on my lashes wondering if they were fake. Nope. not the hype

a one of the makeup artists in sephore used the giavancy version of this produchy and i thought it was cool, so when loreal came out with there version of it i was excited to try. im trying to be open minded but i just cant get use to the ball. i feel that they should have made the actual ball larger to cover more lashes. it takes me forever to aply my mascara. i like it for my bottom lashes but t...read morehat it. in all i will not buy this product again, not worth the time and volumous mascara is the best, im sticking to what i know, been using for 17 yrs now.

If you like spiky lashes, this is for you!

Will you like this mascara? The key question is do you like your lashes spiky and dramatic? Or fluttery and natural++? I'm with the second camp so this mascara doesn' make it into my must-have list, but once you get past that it's actually pretty decent. I got a tube to try via the Total Beauty network, it's newly launched in the US and I have absolutely no clue when or if it'll get here. The ke...read morey differentiator is of course, the sea-mine man-o-war (maybe that's why they called it "explosion"?) applicator. When I first saw this style of mascara wand on Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Mascara, I'll was pretty interested. I normally turn my mascara wands almost vertical and use the tip to add oomph to my outer lashes so this wand seemed like a good idea. Wand I love how small it is and how easy it makes applying mascara smudge-free. I just wish it was well... furrier. The spikes are actually rather far apart and the mascara formula is thick so lashes tend to bond together into triangle shaped spikes. One coat doesn't cut it, two coats and it's WHOA clumps! A lash comb solves almost all the problems, but wouldn't it be cool not to need it? Effect I will say though if you like spiky dramatic lashes you'll looove this. It's not big on curl, but it'll give you visible lashes alright. Wear This is the best part about the mascara. It's waterproof, flake proof, and doesn't leave undereye shadows at all. All day. I wouldn't guarantee it's durability if you rubbed it with your fingers though. And here's the truly wonderful bit. It has all the above AND it's darned easy to remove at the end of the day. A few swipes with a dual-phase mascara remover and you're ready for bed. This is something few companies seem to overlook. We love long-wearing mascara but we don't like having to rub rub rub rub rub it off at the end of a hard day. Conclusion This retails in the US for just under US$10. Now, even if this showed up on our sunny (rainy) shores I doubt I'd pick it up as I do prefer my lashes fluttery and curled. But read the review and determine for yourself if it's the mascara for you.

    Neato!

Great mascara. I just received it free in the mail and I really think it's great to add AFTER you apply your regular mascara. It easily reaches those few hairs in the corner that you probably wouldn't be able to sweep upward otherwise. Doesn't come off that easily but you just need Clinique's eye remover..does the trick!

    Love it!

I wanted to try this brush when it first came out in the high priced brand, forget which, but the cost and the reviews complaining about the mascara put me off. So I jumped when L'oreal came out with their versoin and I am glad I did. I have extremely sensitive eyes but have never had a problem with L'oreal as long as it isn't waterproof, so this formula is no exception, and I can't rave enough ab...read moreout the brush! I knew this brush would be perfect for me since I always use the tip more than the full brush when applying my regular mascara. I had no learning curve with this brush, just use it normally as you would a regular brush - work in a straight line down the length of your eye. No need for the usual separating and repairs and catches with the tip of the usual brush at the end of application, it's already done for you with the initial strokes! Very natural look, no clumps or lumps, the only problem I can think of is if a thicker, more dramatic lash effect is wanted, it will take a lot more coats to achieve. Other than that one caveat, I am sold, this is my new everyday mascara with the added bonus of less time applying mascara and more time to get to work!

    L'real Paris Telescopic Explosion Mascara

AT first, when I saw the advertisements for this mascara, I was like, "Yeah, right". I have always loved L'oreal's other mascaras so I thought I would give this one a try. Honestly it works great! It lengthens my lashes and adds a little volume too. It wears like L'oreals other mascaras and washes off the same too.

    too tiny!

the ball is great for evenly coating everything but it is too tiny too apply quickly. because one eye can take a minute to do two coats and the brush only grabs 5 lashes at a time. I find it far too time consuming to use on a daily basis

    A little below average

While it does pick up on small, short lashes you didn't know you had, this mascara isn't that great. The formula is a bit heavy, a bit to thick and doesn't hold any curl (for my straight Asian lashes). It doesn't produce clumps, but it does tend to bunch my lashes together so that two or three of them become one lash (if that makes sense). For me, the best way to get really thick, natural looki...read moreng, long lashes is by using the Shiseido Make Up Mascara Base and then applying Dr. Hauschka's Volumizing Mascara. My lashes become full, lovely and last all day. I'd only really use this if I wanted to put a dramatic finishing touch on the lashes at the outer edges of my eyes. Otherwise, I'd pass on this product.
