This mascara works both ways. If you are careful and methodical, you can use it alone but it could clump up if you rush and dont comb through, so if you are in a hurry, save this mascara for a special occasion when you have time to play with it. Not for me
I did not care for teh L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Explosion Mascara. I found the rounded brush hard to work with and did not like the mascara formula. Worst mascara ever.

Holds up to heat and humidity
I was impressed with the overall product. The wand takes a little getting used to. The mascara went on thick and clumpy, I had to go back with a brush and separate each lash. I believe that the price is a little high. The mascara was easy to remove at night with a face wipe and didnt leave streaks around my eyes. I was happiest with the wear. I work in FL and many times I work outside. The mscara did not run or flake off in 98 degree weather. Happy with it
I was pretty excited when Total Beauty sent this L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara ($9.49) for me to review. The Flexi-Globe Brush allows you to apply mascara from every angle. The mascara itself is creamy and lengthens and thickens at the same time. This reminded me of Givenchy's Phenomen'Eyes Mascara, that's more than double the price of this one. CRAZIEST MASCARA BRUSH I'VE EVER SEEN

Hoped for more!
When I tried L'Oreal Paris' new Telescopic Explosion Mascara, my expectation was (due to the fact that the design was copied after Givenchy's Phenomen'Eyes Mascara - which you all know I love!) that it would be a nice lower priced substitute. Now it comes close with regards to the design - it also has a ball-shaped brush/tip, and it also separates and lengthens lashes. I like that the formula does...read moren't harden after applying it to lashes, because this makes for easy touch-ups. Loreal did it again!
I had the pleasure of trying another L'Oreal mascara this week. First off, the shape of this mascara wand is awesome. I have to say you will feel a little cool using it and a little "fancy". It is similar to the Givency Phenomen'Eyes version that costs much more ($28). How does it perform? I found this mascara gave me the ability to reach my shorter lashes in a way I can't with a...read more normal curved or straight wand. The mascara quality was great too and lasted all day. My lashes looked thick, long, and seperated just the way I like. It wasn't too dramatic for daytime or work either. The wand will take a bit getting used to though. It was so lightweight and small that I was afraid I was going to poke my eye, but I didn't. It also grabs so much mascara that you have to be sure to wipe some off onto the container before applying it to your eyes. Overall? I really liked the mascara and think it might have a chance of lasting power. As for me buying it again?
