Innovative Brush for the Hard-to-Reach Corner Lashes
I can’t believe my eyes when I first saw this unique mascara product. It has the revolutionary brush (Spherical and Flexi-Globe Brush). What’s cool about this brush is that it can be applied vertically, horizontally or any way you like due to its round shape. It is possible to apply the mascara to every hard to reach corner lashes (especially the inner lashes) for a completely fanne...read mored-out explosive effect. It became my favorite mascara lately and it’s really fun to use especially when my officemates always take a second look to what I’m using, the round brush they say is intriguing. I have been using the product for a week now and I observed that there was no clumping or flaking. It creates beautiful application, length, volume and separation. And at the end of the day, the mascara stays on well and doesn’t smudge. However, I find it hard to curl up my lashes with the round brush. L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Explosion Mascara
When I first took the wand out, I was skeptical on how it would work. I actually liked it. I found that it didn't glop as other mascaras tend to. It was easy to apply, mostly, I think it would make it easier with a little longer handle. It made both my top and bottom lashes look great all day. separates and lengthens, but awkward to use
This mascara is useful for defining every eyelash, particularly the lower lashes. The unique spikey brush is awkward to use at first and took a couple applications to get comfortable with, but its smaller, round shape enables you to direct and maneuver the brush to specific lashes to get them just right. The mascara is great at separating and lengthening the lashes, but does not thicken them. Telescopic Explosion is a new mascara by L'Oreal. I generally feel like most of L'Oreal's mascaras are too similar to compare via review, but since this was sent to me by Total Beauty's Sneak Peek program, I just had to comment on it. This mascara comes in a somewhat cheesy, red and black telescope shaped tube. It is trying to play on the "telescopic" angle, but it truly just takes awa...read morey from a classy appearance. Regardless, that is the least of L'Oreal's worries here. The "innovative" brush at the end of this wand is a rubber brush, similar to that of Max Factor mascaras, with the only difference being the size. L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion's brush is like a little ball at the end of the wand. This makes it harder to control (surprisingly, unless there is a learning curve I don't know about), and because of the thickness of the brush, easier to make a mess. I wasn't really a fan of this mascara. LOVE!
I was skeptical at first because of the wand shape but once i started using it i fell in love. I had for years been an avid user of great lash (pink and green) mascara and had found my replacement. My lashes came out perfect and how i like them to look in less time then ever before. The mascars doestn run down your face by 3pm either. The ball shaped wand allowed me to get every lash with ease. Okay...but wouldn't repurchase
Pros: - It lengthens as advertised. - One coat is sufficient to get the length that you need. - The actual mascara can stand up on its own due to its wide base. Cons: - Since the ball on the tip of the wand is small, you have to almost wipe on each individual lash. I think it’s because there is less surface area longwise that makes it more difficult to apply on the smaller lower lash line. Would You Purchase Again? Not so sure!
OK so lets see...I LOVE, love, love L'Oreal I mean who doesn't?! But they're newest invention Telescopic Explosion Mascara might be a little too "Futuristic" for me. From the outside of the bottle nothing looks amiss it just looks like a great tube of mascara but upon opening it I was immediately alarmed when I saw this long, flimsy, rubbery wand with a very, very small cluster of rubber...read more bristles at the end. I assumed this was for people with half an eye!!! I thought there is no way my full lashes were fitting on this...turns out I was correct! You have to apply the mascara to your lashes several times in sections going back and forth to make sure all your lashes are coated. The wand seemed very unstable...maybe a little too flexible for my taste!? I actually bent the wand back a bit while I was applying only to have the wand snap back and pop me in the eye. The formula itself is pretty decent. Even though it was awkward applying the mascara my lashes are long and curly. They aren't sticky, stiff or crunchy and so far they haven't flaked either. Fun New Spiky Ball Delivers Results
This has become one of my go-to mascaras. While the applicator certainly had a learning curve, after a few tries I completely got the hang of it, and was able to reach lashes that were previously unreachable. The formula is really good also - stays put with no smearing, smudging, or flaking by the end of the day. Gives a good deal of volume and dare I say it - curl with little to no effort. Great for corner and bottom lashes
The Telescopic Explosion sphere gets into both upper and lower corners and discovers even the tiniest lashes I never knew were there. Plus it covers right up to the lash line without creating a goopy black mess and defines and separates for a thicker-looking lash line. Good for length!
This mascara definitely has it's pros and con's. It's great for giving you natural looking length and making your lashes stand out. The wand made it easy to reach the inner corners of eyes and the lower lashes. However, it doesn't give you much when it comes to volume and I found that it clumped easily.
