Moisturized Eyes. Period.
My mind can't wrap itself around the fact that StriVectin™ products don't work for me. I keep telling myself that the next new one to hit the shelves will be the one which will change my life. My skin is really in pretty great shape, but I want to know that I have go-to products if I begin to wrinkle (praying I don't). I've been annoyed by some sagging skin around my eyes and miniscule crease...read mores. What did I do? I shelled out $15.00 for a sample size of StriVectin's™ travel-size "Eye Concentrate for Wrinkles." After all, it claimed its place in "Allure" Magazine's "Best of Beauty Award Winners for 2012." Fifteen dollars was worth the risk. StriVectin™ touts that by the second week of use, dark circles and puffiness will be reduced. By the fourth week, natural collagen will be renewed, with an increase in firmness and an improvement in texture. By the eighth week, elasticity will be reinforced, and fine lines and crow's feet will diminish. Much like StriVectin-SD™ for stretch marks and wrinkles, the ingredients should absolutely work--on paper. They include glycerin, glyceryl sterate (a lubricant which gives a soft, smooth appearance), dimethicone (a form of silicone which fills in lines and furrows as it also increases the velvety feel of your complexion), squalane, caffeine (which has anti-inflammatory properties to decrease puffiness), cucumber seed oil, sodium hyaluronate (a moisture magnet which binds water to skin, improving the appearance and feel), and peptides, which work to increase collagen production. The cream contains brighteners and light-reflecting ingredients to give a more youthful, blurred appearance. This is to be used twice daily on cleansed skin, using your ring finger (it exerts the least pressure) to gently pat under the eyes and move upward and outward toward eyebrows. FOOLED AGAIN! (Does anyone else hear "The Who" singing here?) My skin was softened. No improvement in very tiny lines, no brighter appearance, no tightening of skin. I do find these with Ole Henriksen's eye cream, but StriVectin left me shaking my head yet again. I want to love it, I want to believe the claims--and I can't.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Doesn't do well for moisturizing....
But I can really feel the cooling sensation around my eyes. I feel like it really does well for tightening like the cooling sensation has helped to make my eye area firmer. I'm 27 so I don't really have wrinkles around my eyes yet so I can't review it on that since there's really not a before or after to compare. I just like the fact that this feels like it tightens the skin around my eyes. I've u...read moresed the sample I got for two weeks now and it feels like my eye area has become firmer. I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for something hydrating but it works wonders for oily and normal skin. This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Would not buy
I got a sample of this and did not care for it. It had a strong mature woman type of smell and was very thick. It is very overpriced and really did not do it for me. I like other eye creams much better. It did not absorb as well or moisturize as well as other eye treatments. This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
