Maybe I got a bad batch....
I bought the small mini trial from Ulta before committing to the full size. So many good reviews led me to believe that I have found a holy grail. NOT! I hated this product. I applied this under my foundation and when I applied my foundation on top of this the foundation literally flaked off! I was so disappointed. At first I thought it was my foundation but when I applied my foundation to the bac...read morek of my hand and rubbed it, it didn't flake off so I applied a little bit of this product to the back of my hand and started rubbing, it flaked off kind of similar to the results you get when you erase pencil marks. It was disgusting and I immediately returned this product. Worth a try
I did actually like this product even though it was a little thick. I found that a little really goes a long way with this product and when I use a small amount and spread a thin layer, it does a wonderful job of evening out my skin texture without feeling too heavy, especially if I moisturize first. I also find that it's quite build-able so you can add more as needed. I have used Smashbox's Photo...read more Finish Primer and MAC's Primer and I liked Smashbox's primer a tiny bit better just because it feels lighter but in terms of how well it works there is not really a huge difference between the three for me.
