Great Coverage

I absolutely love this foundation. It is very lightweight and covers acne bumps, blemishes, and redness. It's so inexpensive and smooth. It would be better with a pump or something besides this huge hole to pour the foundation out. I like to apply this with my fingers. The foundation has this really light perfume scent that my boyfriend likes and always tells me that my face smells nice.

Impressed

I finally broke down and bought this to help me survive until I could find my my shade of L'oreal True Match, W3. I had been to 4 stores, over the course of 3 days and everyone was out of my color. I bought this because it was the cheapest thing I could find as a temporary sub. First of all, it's a bit greasy, but I found I could manage that issue and make it look perfect if I used a brush for app...read morelication. I also tend to set it with a little powder. The benefits are that it can provide heavy coverage if built up well, it smells nice, and hasn't broken me out yet. I also feel that they give you a very generous amount. For 4 bucks, I'll be purchasing this one again!

I have searched high and low for a great liquid foundation that matched my incredibly pale skin and wasn’t too heavy so I could use it daily. And to say I’ve tried them all is a big understatement. The last one I was using before I found this was Almay Smart Match and although I liked the formula and the idea of the product, it did not match my pale skin, even with “smart technology” So...read more, I switched to Bare Minerals but wasn’t extremely happy with that either as it made my skin incredibly shiny and it’s quite expensive. I’ll be honest, my love for Zooey Deschanel may have pushed my towards the Rimmel London section, but it’s the foundation that keeps me coming back. This is a very great foundation and I do use it daily. It blends very well (even when using fingers), has a light formula that isn’t too greasy and seems to last well throughout the day and even on hot summer days. I used it for a few summer weddings so far and even though it was super hot and sticky, the foundation seemed to keep my skin looking cool. It covers red or blotchy areas really well and is great at evening out skin tone. It does cover up acne, but I find that sometimes I still need to use something else (Bare Minerals, usually) to do some spot treatments on the worse acne spots. I’ll have to try one reviewer’s idea of using a brush for more coverage. It lasts very long because a little goes a long way. I agree with other reviewers that the bottle isn’t the best for getting a small amount out, sometimes it can get messy. But all things considered, I do love this foundation and will continue to use it as long as they make it. I usually top it off with their Stay Matte Shine Control powder to ensure that I stay shin free for the day and I will use it for any needed touchups throughout the day, which doesn’t happen often.
