Best for dry skin
Josie Maran infuses argan oil in all of her products which is very hydrating and nourishing to dry skin. I live in Arizona, so I deal with the perpetual problem of such dry skin. I have recently dealt with an issue with my skin were it was difficult for me to wear foundation because my skin was extremely unstable--one day it would melt off in an hour, another day it would dry up and cake on me. I ...read moredo have a complexion where I feel I must wear foundation. Another problem I encountered was difficulty in finding the correct tone. Don't get me wrong, I work with make up so I can identify tone and undertone easily. I am an olive complexion, but I am much lighter. Most foundations make foundation for olive tones that are medium or tan--not lighter olive complexions. Most foundations will be too pink and ashy on my complexion because it is not olive enough. What I do like about this foundation is that it self-adjusts, but is made for people who have more yellow/olive tones. Watching it adjust on my skin as kind of cool, but it wasn't a perfect match. I would still rather have a foundation that was a close shade (not too light or dark), even though it's not golden enough. The argan oil in this foundation was very nourishing to my skin. I did like that my skin felt comfortable with this on. Even though it's supposed to leave you with a satin/dewy finish, I still had to top it with powder because the argan oil would shine through on the surface. This foundation unfortunately isn't very binding to your skin. If you ran a finger on your skin, you run the risk of wiping it off. Therefore, this isn't very long-wearing. Also, you're only going to get light--MAYBE medium coverage with this. This isn't recommended for people who need more coverage. What I did love about this foundation was that my foundation neither melted, nor dried up on my skin which is quite rare. There are a lot of things I would change about this foundation, but it does a decent job for ME. It is a bit pricey at 42 dollars a jar. Although I did like this foundation overall, I do not feel compelled to make this my holy grail foundation product. This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful

Matchmaker Serum Foundation
I purchased this several months ago as part of a kit. I was expecting it to be sort of a step above Josie's Tinted Moisturizer, which I LOVE, but this needs to be released in a few extra shades because the whole "one color suits all" is NOT true in this case. I purchased the lightest shade available and I cannot begin to say how orange it was. It applies beautifully and wears really well, it feels...read more so amazing on the skin, but there's no way I can sing it's praises when the matchmaker technology that Josie raved about failed me. If you're Medium, Tan, or Darker complected, then you should absolutely try this product. But if you're truly Fair to Light, steer clear, for you will be a step closer to Oompa Loompa, and no smart woman wants to look like that. This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
