Could Use Improvement
I really love the idea of this product. Let me first begin by saying that it does moisturize the armpit and help smooth out bumps. So the clearer tone promise is absolutely accurate! Good job Dove! The bad news is that I would certainly not call this clinical strength. The product is very light on the armpit, but is not very buildable. If you use even a little bit too much you will have some white...read more streaks. It also leaves the armpit feeling a bit wet, due to the moisturizer. When you combine this with heat (such as during the summer), I felt like it was doing little for my wetness control. The fragrance was very floral, which is fine by me, but if you don't like floral deodorants, this is not for you. So overall, this does help with bumps, but I think the staying power and anti-perspirant aspect needs to be improved. This is a great product in the sense that it really does lighten up the coloring of the underarms. My armpits were dark and I was getting unsatisfactory results from other products. I tried everything from baking soda scrubs to lemon juice! In less than three weeks, this product did what others could not; it lightened my armpits! (Which I did during the summer/workouts, and I don't perspire a great deal!) It does have little beads that disappear once you have been wearing it for a while, but be mindful that the first few applications may feel scratchy because of them.
