Although it appears other reviewers have experienced problems with this foundation, I find it to be the best I have ever used. I purchased it at Sephora. When I tested it, I found it to be unbelievable. It is not greasy, a teeny bit goes a long way, and the coverage is incredible. It evens out your skin tone and imparts a flawless finish. However, now that it is winter, I don't use the Evian Water, plus I changed my moisturizer, which probably made a difference, too. I will buy this again and again. Alright
I was matched with this foundation at Sephora and was hoping that I would like it. Though it did match my (hard to match) skin, I found it to be too heavy! I like to feel like I don't have much foundation on. This clearly did not make me feel like that. Lock-It Foundation
This is a very full coverage foundation with a matte finish. It really is perfect for oily skin. As I said, it is a full coverage make up and they are not kidding around with that designation; should you choose to use this foundation, you will need to highlight and contour to bring back dimension to your face. I use about half a pump to cover my entire face and don't need any extra products to cover any imperfections. This will hide everything on the first go. Because of the thickness, I made sure to moisturize well before application (even with my oily skin; if you have dry skin it is a MUST). This foundation doesn't feel heavy on but it definitely looks like you have make up on-- not the foundation for anyone who prefers sporting a natural look. I set this foundation with a very light dusting of setting powder and it stays put all day with hardly any oil breakthrough-- only after maybe 5 or 6 hours of wear will I see even a hint of oil breakthrough and even then, it's not enough to blot or powder away. It has no SPF in it so it really stays true to color in pictures-- no ghost face with this. This line offers a pretty wide array of color options in various undertones as well so you are very likely to find the perfect shade for you. Because this foundation is so opaque, getting the right color is very important-- you won't really have room to make it work if it's off. I would recommend asking for help choosing your shade as well as asking for a sample to make sure it's the exact shade you need. The only issues I had with this product are: 1. That non- transfer claim? Yeah, not so much. It gets everywhere without a light dusting of setting powder. 2. It oxides on me. It was very slight though-- it turned maybe one shade darker than it went on. My plan is just to ask for a sample of a lighter shade and seeing how that works. All in all, this is a very nice foundation for nights out, special occasions, and pictures but would probably be a bit much for every day wear for most people.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful
