After hearing good things about Clarins' self tanning products I went to Sephora intent to buy something for my pasty legs. I spoke with a sales lady about my concerns (mainly streaking since I am so fair) and I bought the mousse. She said it was the easiest to apply and gave a light, natural color. No matter what way I tried this, it streaked horribly on me. The color looked orange and was so...read more uneven. Priced at $42.50, this is not a cheap self tanner, yet it worked terribly. I didn't want to give up on this because I spent the money and still wanted a fake tan, but I ended up tossing it. I would give this a single star, but I think the mousse consistency is unique and feels luxurious and I actually like the smell of this. It smells like self tanner, but high end self tanner if that makes sense. This has no tint to it, so you won't know if you are applying it evenly. I tried using this on its own, mixed with my regular body lotion, with a washcloth, with a mit, etc. and nothing worked for me. I tried using the tiniest amount and it would still streak. My coworkers and friends teased me about how streaky and orange my legs looked! Definitely save your money on this and look into some of the many other self tanning lotions on the market.
