Now, back to Maybelline New York's Baby Lips Tinted Lip balm. It really works. Some of the other reviews I read before I purchased mine said that they weren't so great. But really, it actually is. It does leave your lip moisturized and soft. Also, after 4 weeks, (yes it does take a while to work) the formula, if you apply it everyday starts to work and generate. At first it might just be lipstick if you get the colored and flavored one, but after the time being, the 4 weeks, it finally works. Actually but for some people, it does work faster than others. One of my closest friends, tried this balm and said it worked after just 9 or 7 days!!! ********BOTTOM LINE********* The Cons are: Takes awhile for formula to work, TOO MANY CHOICES (This actualy might be a good thing!) Truly Lovely Lip Balm
I own the Baby Lips in Cherry Me, and it is an absolutely beautiful cherry color! The packaging on these lip balms is really nice, as I quite enjoy the pop of color that comes on every tube. The balm slides very nicely back down into the tube, and doesn't get nicked on the lid at all so no product is wasted. The color Cherry Me is really pretty, it gives a light red tint to the lips so that shad...read moree would be good for those looking for red lips but either don't want to go the lipstick route or the whole way to a deep red lip. I personally find this lip balm to be very moisturizing and lightweight on the lips. I have no problems with bleeding or feathering. There is a cherry smell to this so if you don't like that particular scent, this isn't the lip balm for you. I think this lip balm is one of the best I've ever tried. It smells pretty good, it looks cute and it smooths out my lips. Great color
To be clear, I think this is a great product for the price. I paid $10 for two tubes (in light pink and red) and I am addicted. I don't notice that my lips are any softer, but I love the cute and happy packaging and the colors are GREAT. So here's the thing...
I was really excited about this product, so I got two: quenched and pink punch. It's okay. I like the smell, but it doesn't exactly taste pleasant. I think the clear ones are better than the tinted ones. If you have chapped lips, it will feel waxy when you put it on. Also, the tinted lipbalms are really pigmented, so your if your lips are cracked, the color will collect in the cracks and look gros...read mores. The 8 hr hydration is a lie. It lasts a few hours, but definitely not 8. This colors more than it hydrates.
