Love this concealer!!
I saw this in a friend's makeup bag and asked her what she thought about it and she used up the entire thing and was just hoarding the bottle because she loved it so much; I decided to go out and buy myself one as I always battle dark circles under my eyes and have to end up buying high end concealers that really hurt my wallet. I purchased this in the shade medium as most makeup in medium shades seems best for my dark brown skin. I was a little apprehensive about the applicator as it's like a spongy porous thing that can quickly hold way too much product and end up a giant mess so when you turn the knob to make the concealer come out, don't get trigger happy and keep winding it or you will have liquid everywhere. A few twists does the trick and I always apply concealer under my eyes in the triangle fashion and blend and this concealer gets rid of my horrible dark circles with just a little bit of product. The formula is smooth and doesn't feel super heavy but actually covers what I want it to without making me feel like I have a pound of concealer on. I haven't really known what to look for when it says age rewind but I suppose if you're hiding dark circles you're going back in time! The bottle says it has goji berry and haloxyl; after having looked up what haloxyl is I discovered it is an ingredient that helps reduce the appearance of broken capillaries and can also help thicken the skin under the eye area which in turn causes less dark circles and thicker more beautiful skin. The goji berry is supposed to help visibly improve skin's condition and radiance so I would assume that that would help brighten up the eye area. Whatever these ingredients do they are working! This product has been floating around Youtube like crazzyyy and it's a surprise there's only one review on it so far. This concealer has a very light coverage. The shades on this are also very light so it's better for highlighting than concealing. I love the unique sponge applicator even though it is unsanitary but it doesn't bother me. I have been on the hunt girls for an amazing concealer! My trash can was getting quite full and then I tried this one. I have always been a fan of Maybelline mascaras and this is a definite winner. Not only does it come in a variety of colors (including neutralizer!) it is easily blendable; not dry or cakey at all. I wasn't sure that I would like the sponge tip, but it is like a mini blending tool...read more right there! It makes it so easy. If you prefer to use your fingers, the concealer has the perfect texture for blending. It also has great staying power; I am super impressed! I just turn the dial and apply. I purchased in both light and medium. I started using the light for highlighting and medium for concealing, but then I switched to medium so it is super versatile for different looks. I always have at least 2 colors on hand for the different seasons. The only thing I would change about this product is the price was a little high for a drugstore concealer; I believe I paid around $8.99. I had a coupon (frugal girls rock!) which was super helpful but I think I would bring the price down about $2. It is still totally worth the buy! This gives light to medium coverage and I also apply setting powder for extra staying power.
