This is a rich, lovely moisturizer that dries matte, but with some subtle shimmer in it to keep skin from looking flat. But with all matte-finish moisturizers, it balls up under my makeup. While this is a thicker cream, it still feels very lightweight and has given my face an overall smooth texture. I use it only in the morning and it leaves my skin feeling very hydrated.
