Trendy juice brand Organic Avenue is discounting juices for models during Fashion Week. The company says that their offerings are healthier than the bagels and sodas models would otherwise be subsisting on backstage. What do you think? Is it a great idea, or are they encouraging models not to eat? Source: abcnews.com

Even though it's barely February, I'm already dreaming about spring makeup. There's just something so refreshing about soft pastels after a long, dreary season of black and gray.
Thanks to Kate Mara -- and makeup artist Kim Bower -- I now have a very specific look in mind. Mara was breathtaking at the "House of Cards" premiere in Washington D.C. earlier this week, and it was everything I want my makeup to be come April.
Glowing skin and a pop of pink on the cheeks is crucial for this look, and Bower used a trio of skin-perfectors to get this gorgeous glow: Clarins Beauty Flash Balm and Murad primer under Giorgio Armani Luminous Skin Foundation. Then, she applied Nars Blush in Luster to the apples of the cheeks.

In short, any beauty companies wishing to sell cosmetics or ingredients in the EU -- even toiletries like toothpaste and soap -- must not test them on animals anywhere in the world.
This comes as a huge victory not only to those of us who are fond of our furry friends, but also to Cruelty Free International, a nonprofit organization that has been campaigning for this kind of legislation for over 20 years. Working alongside the organization is…
