Target has made a concerted effort the past few years to up the quality of their products, mainly by teaming up with designers and high-end brands. So it shouldn't be too surprising that you can now get luxury fragrances when you swing by to pick up more TP and Tide.
Scent Bar, a famous Los Angeles fragrance boutique, is launching a line at Target of body washes, body lotions, body butters, and body mists in four different scents. There's Blush, a sugared peony and pink champagne fragrance, Cabana, a coconut and vanilla scent, Forbidden, a pomegranate and blackberry fragrance, and Sunswept, with notes of Sicilian orange and bergamot. While I realize the verdict is still up on the effect chemicals in beauty products have on our health, I like to go the "green" route when possible. (And yes, my co-workers call me granola.) Lines and wrinkles look significantly reduced in just four weeks? Sounds good to us. That's what 96 percent of women showed when they tried the new Estée Lauder Perfectionist [CP+R], an anti-aging serum that promises to lift and firm the look of wrinkles and double skin's natural collagen-building power (based on in vitro testing of CPR-75 Technology after 1 week).
The great thing about this new product is you can just mix it with your moisturizer, which means you don't have to add another step to your regimen. You can buy it at Macy's and macys.com now, so check it out if you want to supercharge the look of your skin.

We're in Las Vegas for Cosmoprof, the beauty industry's biggest trade show, and we can't stop raving about some of the new hair products we saw on the first day of the show. Here are a couple stand-outs:
The Verge by One Bubble Wand. Want waves that look perfectly messy? This ceramic iron has a beveled wand, so it's not going to give you a perfect ringlet you have to try to strategically mess up once it cools. Neat feature: The tip of this iron stays cool, which gives you way more control when you're curling.
Bain de Terre Argan Oil & Passion Flower Color Therapy Styling Oil. You can put a few drops of this oil on damp hair to make styling easier, on dry hair to boost shine and tame flyaways, or into your at-home hair color mix to boost the brilliance of the shade. Genius. Read More »
