Good news animal-lovers: Last week, Urban Decay announced it was canceling plans to sell their products in China. The reason: China requires animal testing for all beauty products sold. Urban Decay has worked to end animal testing since its founding in 1996, and doesn't test its finished products on animals or allow others to test on their behalf.
The Humane Society is (obviously) in full support of Urban Decay's decision. "This decision will give strength to consumers and other companies to fight animal testing of cosmetics worldwide," says Kate Willett, HSUS director of regulatory toxicology, risk assessment, and alternatives.
For more info on Urban Decay and other brands that don't test on animals, check out the Humane Society website. Read More »

As if kissing wasn't exciting enough already, KISSTIXX has given us even more incentive to pucker up. The brand's new fruity lip balms give you a fresh burst of scent and flavor when the tasty flavors come together --- during a smooch.
KISSTIXX has six yummy flavor combos: Pina Colada & Strawberry Daiquiri, Sweet & Sour, Raspberry & Lemonade, Peaches & Cream, Strawberry & Chocolate, and Fire & Ice. You wear one half of the pair and give the other to your kissing partner. The result: a totally different kind of makeout session.
Each pair of lip balms is a steal for $5.99 and they're available online on the KISSTIXX website. See more »

Plenty of celebs represent beauty companies. They apply moisturizer in the commercials and put on lipstick in the ads. Neutrogena, however, is taking it one step further -- not only do ambassadors like Miranda Cosgrove and Emma Roberts lend their faces to the brand, they also actively participate in Neutrogena's charity initiatives.
Now through August 31, they're helping to raise awareness for Wave for Change. The program is donating up to $250,000 to Global Giving to support school programs in underserved communities. Participating couldn't be easier -- all you have to do is watch the Wave for Change video on Neutrogena's Facebook page, and they'll donate a dollar for each view. You can also activate a recent Neutrogena purchase, and they'll donate another dollar.
