Hair Care
Red Carpet-Worthy Hair and Makeup in 10 Minutes or LessThe celebrity hairstyles and makeup looks you loved from the Emmy Awards minus the hours of prep time |
Hairstyle: Anna Paquin Celebrity stylist Renato Campora created this look for "True Blood" star Paquin. To get the "soft yet glamorous look," Campora says to start by applying Frederic Fekkai Full Blown Volume Styling Whip, $23 to the roots of wet hair. Dry hair quickly with your hands and then use a half-inch curling iron and set the hair in pin curls for a couple of minutes (after curling each section with an iron, you'll pin up the curl to help it set). Remove the pins and run your fingers through your hair to loosen the coils, says Renato.
Next, pull hair back into a French twist, revealing the nape of the neck, and secure with bobby pins, he says. Create volume near the face by loosening the hair at the crown of the head a bit with your hands. Finish by spraying with a strong-hold hairspray like Tresemme Tres Spray Super Hold Hairspray, $3.99.

A lot of these look like they take longer than ten minutes.

These looks took waaay more than 10 minutes. Also remember, these people have more than one specialist for everything (hair stylist, cosmetician, general stylist, etc.).
