Makeup: Rose Byrne Makeup Artist Kate Lee created "Damages" star Byrne's smoky eye look. Lee said she wanted a style for Rose that was "young and fresh." To get the look, start by applying an oil-free primer (try Lorac AquaPrime Makeup Primer, $30). Then, apply eyeshadow base to the lids and immediately apply a dark mauve cream shadow like Chanel Liquid Eyeshadow in Splash, $32 using your fingertip.
Next, use a black pencil liner "under the lashline to add depth, then put a line of the liquid shadow over the top and blend it out slightly," says Lee. Apply a couple coats of black mascara. Then powder your nose, chin and forehead, "leaving the rest of the skin dewy," says Lee. Finish by warming up the cheeks with a matte tan blush and applying clear lip gloss.

A lot of these look like they take longer than ten minutes.

These looks took waaay more than 10 minutes. Also remember, these people have more than one specialist for everything (hair stylist, cosmetician, general stylist, etc.).
