Sarah Jessica Parker's Voluminous Updo Parker's black and white Oscar de la Renta ball gown, complete with evening gloves and floral hair accessories, solidified our belief that she is, in fact, Carrie Bradshaw in real life. The updo was over the top in the best way, and the flowers lining the back were an unexpected yet gorgeous finishing touch.

Every spring, the fashion world anxiously awaits the kickoff fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's fashion exhibit. It's notoriously a red carpet where Hollywood and society A-listers take some risks, and the 2014 Met Gala was no exception.
This year's event was inspired by fashion designer Charles James, whom the Anna Wintour Costume Center chose to honor with the "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" exhibit.
