Platinum Blonde It doesn't matter what your current hair color is — even if you're already blonde — going platinum makes a serious statement. We've recently seen Zac Efron dare to go there (the contrast with his dark beard is amazing) and Hilary Duff did the same just after giving birth.

"Everyone dreams about going platinum blonde, but Hilary went for it," says Kim Navarro, celebrity stylist for Nine Zero One Salon. "What better time to have the most sexy hair change than right after having a baby? So Empowering."

To prevent platinum hair from going brassy, wash with a purple toning shampoo, such as Amika's Bust Your Brass Cool Blonde Shampoo, about once a week.
