Grilled Parmesan Asparagus
This side dish works just a well accompanying a picnic lunch as it does a white-tablecloth dinner.
Ingredients
1 pound fresh asparagus
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
2 garlic cloves, minced
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Clean and trim the bottoms of the asparagus. Lay the asparagus in a pan, toss in olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Move the asparagus to the grill: Lay them on the grill in a row. Grill them for 5 to 10 minutes over medium heat until they have char marks and are tender. Remove the asparagus from the grill, and return them to the pan. Toss with garlic and cheese.
