Add some shimmer and shine One of LaMarsh's favorite tricks for making lips appear larger is by throwing in a little bit of pearlescent lip color into the center of the lips, over a matte or flat-colored lipstick. "The reflective properties of the lipstick in the center of the lips makes your lips quickly look fuller," she explains. "The 3D effect of this trick is really eye-catching." To rock this at home or out on the town, apply a matte lip shade all over your lips as a base. Then, using a lip brush, apply the shimmery lip color, like Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss in Classic, $36, to the center of both the bottom and top lips.
