Harry Josh Pro Tools Hair Dryer, $300 Yeah, I know. You're freaked out by the price. This is the most expensive blow dryer I've ever used, but it's also the best. It's light and compact, it's shockingly powerful (80-miles-per-hour powerful), the cold shot is actually cold (unlike all the others, which are warm to room temperature), and it dries my hair more than twice as fast as any other dryer. Oh, and I love the mint green color. The reason it costs so much? It's hand-assembled in France, and it has two filters instead of one, making it energy efficient and less likely to burn out when you forget to clean the filter for months at a time. It also comes with a two-year warranty -- twice as long as most dryers.
And then there's the Harry Josh factor. Josh is the boy wonder of the hairstyling world. He's worked with one-name stars like Gisele and Gwyneth, and his red carpet looks are always spot-on. He set out to create a hair dryer that was better than everything else on the market -- and chic enough for his mega-celeb clients. I think he succeeded.
