Nars Cream Compact Foundation, $38 I really hate foundation -- and I really, really detest compact foundation. It's thick and gunky, the color never matches my skin tone, and that sponge seems like a haven for bacteria. Then I tried this compact foundation, and I changed my tune. It's full-coverage but feels silky, and you can dab it on wherever you need it. It blends like a dream, and unlike the tinted moisturizers and BB creams I typically use, there are 20 shades to choose from. And I found one that actually matches my skin -- not just a "it's good enough so I'll wear it" match.
