Gothic Glamour
There's a statement lip, and then there's a statement lip. At Ohne Titel's fall/winter 2016 show, it was all about the latter with a blue-black vampy lip that makes us want to break out our darkest lipsticks and best IDGAF attitudes. Makeup artist Kabuki for M.A.C. describes the look as, "rock 'n' roll, gothic coolness and alternative chic."
The key to pulling off dark, bold lipstick is perfect skin. Kabuki used M.A.C. Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation, $33, and Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer, $19, to even out models' skin. He left the eyes completely bare.
For the piéce de rèsistance, he mixed together M.A.C. Lipmix, $15, in Blue, Burgundy and Magenta and blended the mixture over models' lips. He then touched up and defined lips with lip liner.
