Fluff Piece There's nothing like a little fur trim to add a luxe visual element any to look, and that was certainly the case at Libertine's fall/winter show, where the CND Design Lab team created decadent fur-accented nails for the label. The soft-to-the-touch fingertips had a feather-like quality that made them every bit as eye catching as designer Johnson Hartig's colorful designs.
To create the look, the CND Design Lab team first gave models a matte base nail by using CND Vinylux Weekly Polish in Rubble or Cream Puff. Nail artists then used CND Creative Nail Design Super Shiney High Gloss Top Coat -- rather than glue -- to adhere matching fluffy adornments in white or taupe.
It took the team, which also hand-crafted crystal-adorned eye-shaped pieces to decorate nails, more than 200 hours to pull off the distinct digits. For his part, Hartig was impressed with CND's creative work -- and time commitment -- calling them, a "dream team sent from heaven above!"
