"Emmy's style is simple and beautiful," says Knight and is easiest for fine or thick hair that is naturally straight. If your hair is normally curly, like Emmy's, this look is still possible, but will take a bit more effort when blow drying.

Copy this look: Step 1: Start by applying tinted moisturizer (check out these highly-rated ones to find your new fave). A tinted moisturizer will allow your natural skin's texture to shine through and create a dewy glow. But, if you have trouble areas, feel free to dab concealer where needed. Step 2: Define brows with powder that is a shade lighter than the roots of your head hair. Try Ardell Brow Defining Powder, $4.99. "Just because you are going natural doesn't mean you should neglect your brows," advises Schlip. Step 3: Brush your eyelids with a light silver shadow. Step 4: Curl lashes and apply three coats of black lengthening mascara to top lashes only. CoverGirl Volume Exact Mascara, $6.99 is a reader fave. Step 6: Finish by dabbing on a sheer pinky-rose lip gloss (try Nars Lip Gloss in Sweet Dreams, $24 and powdering your t-zone with a translucent loose powder to control midday shine.

"Emma's loose curl set is a perfect balance of styled, but not over-styled," says Knight. And it's easiest to recreate on naturally curly, thick or fine hair. Women with straight hair can also try the look, but it will take a little more time.
Copy this look: Step 1: Start by applying a volume and texture boosting product to damp hair. Knight likes Aveda Volumizing Tonic, $14. Step 2: If hair is naturally straight, blow dry it using only your hands. If your hair is naturally curly, use a flat paddle brush while blow drying to smooth hair. Step 3: Once hair is dry, grab random one-inch thick vertical sections of hair in an off-set (think brick-like) pattern. Set each section with a mist of spray like Paul Mitchell Fast Drying Sculpting Spray, $17.99 before wrapping strands around a large-barreled curling iron. Leave the ends out and alternate the direction of the curls (curl some towards the face and others away from the face) until all of your hair is curled. "Scarlet's slightly altered modern version of a classic French twist is beautiful," says Knight and looks so earthy and natural with all that wispy texture on top. This style is easily achieved with naturally wavy hair, but can be accomplished with straight hair with a little help from a curling iron.
Copy this look: Step 1: If hair is naturally straight, start by applying a texturizing agent like KMS California Hair Play Texture Blast, $16.95 to damp hair and blow dry while lightly finger combing too add texture. Step 2: Section hair from ear to ear, creating an angled part that runs from your ears to the back of your crown -- clip this section out of the way. Step 3: Backcomb the bottom section lightly for texture. Then hold and roll it vertically toward your scalp (much like a French twist but flat, not as round) and secure with bobby pins.
