10 Anti-Aging Habits of Perfect-Skinned Real Women

Along with teen angst came acne, yet as an adult I still find myself dealing with both. WTF?! Adult acne is the worst. What I wouldn't give for clear skin
Want Hair Color That'll Last Longer Than Jake and Vienna's Marriage? Try These Top-Rated Hair Care Products

I'm a natural blonde, but even god-given hair color needs some enhancement to keep it from looking (in my case) mousey or dishwater-like. But lately I've realized that my trips to the salon are getting pricey (and I'm not quite brave enough to employ these DIY color tips just yet). Not to mention that I've clearly been reading too many trashy mags during my visits, which is why I'm up on "The Bachelor" gossip. So I've decided it's time to start protecting my investment with quality, color-protecting products.
Do Celebrities Have Natural Beauty Inside and Out? Do You? This Quiz Has the Answer
- Posted by Kristen on March 29, 2010 at 10:15AM
I was chatting it up with friends the other day about how certain celebs (who shall remain nameless here) look like such laidback, glowing people on the red carpet, but then, you hear horrible stories about how they were "mean girls" in high school -- so disappointing.
Hayden Panettiere's New Long Red Hair -- Love It or Hate It?
- Posted by Kristen on March 10, 2010 at 11:16AM
Our favorite "Heroes" star got a makeover ... so what do 'ya think? Do you like the red hue and extensions? What's the deal with extensions anyway -- practically everyone in Hollywood has them (check out freaky extreme ones here). What's the point of ever cutting your hair if you're just going to add extensions immediately afterward? Sorry, I digress. Anyway, would love to know your thoughts about Miss Panettiere's new look.
Update Your Look For Spring With These Beauty Tips (Psst... Rachel McAdams Was Sporting One of the Season's Biggest Trends at the Oscars)
- Posted by Kristen on March 29, 2010 at 10:11AM
The smoky eye, ponytail and mostly-black ensemble I've been sporting since fall is feeling pret-ty drab. And after seeing all of the spring-like looks on the red carpet Sunday -- did you see Rachel McAdams' gorgeous floral gown and glowing skin (loved!) -- I am starting to think it's time for a fashion and beauty overhaul. But before I bare my arms (not to mention my legs) I need to tackle some of my winter skin issues (see how I'm dealing with them here), and hopefully put that, well, spring in my step back. I'm not planning to re-invent the wheel (and you shouldn't either) -- so here are easy ways to update your look for spring -- I would love to be brave enough to do No. 2 (are you?).
Ditch Oily Hair (Like Megan Fox Did) for Good -- With Help From These Tips
- Posted by Kristen on March 5, 2010 at 04:48PM
Oily hair got you down? Join the club. Heck, even Megan Fox gets the greasies. She even tweeted an apology for having shown up at last year's MTV Awards with less than clean strands -- see photo proof here. (Her face is always kinda oily too but that's another problem -- one these top-rated products will help solve.)
How To Look Like a Celebrity in Every Photo (Even if You're Not One) Using Makeup Tips and More

It's a good thing I'm not famous. Forget that I can't act or sing ('cause obviously that hasn't stopped numerous MTV stars and celebutantes) I also happen to be the least photogenic person ever. And, clearly, as a star, you need to pose for pics and look better-than-good doing it. Just think about how many shutters will be snapping away at the Oscar nominees (see the hairstyles we think they should wear on Sunday here) -- and you don't see them cringing or cowering.

Don't know about you, but if I were an Oscar nominee I'd be milking it for every last ounce of glitz and glam. Just think, Marchesa, Armani, Versace vying for you to wear their gown, the H. Sterns and Cartiers of the world clamoring for you to don their baubles, Manolo, Louboutin and Prada, oh my! Not to mention access to all the best hair and makeup people in the biz.
We Know What Beauty Products Kim Kardashian Likes. How About You?
- Posted by Kristen on March 3, 2010 at 10:55AM
I had to laugh yesterday when I read that Kim Kardashian's "dream job" is to work at Sephora. She told "People" that "If I wasn't doing what I'm doing now I would be a makeup artist or work at Sephora."

I only have a few minutes to write this blog 'cause it's almost time for my new obsession -- "Hoarders" (A&E Monday at 10pm) -- and I absolutely cannot miss it.
