This is a heavy cream for dry to very dry skin that takes some time to be absorbed, not that that ever bothered me before. My problem is that the hydrating effect does not last, not even throughout the night. I forgot to mention that I preferred to use this as a night cream, even though it has spf, and for fall & winter. I purchased L'oreal Revitalift clinical repair 10 based on what I read on this website. I'm pretty disappointed. While it's a great night cream (I can only use it at night since it's so heavy on my face) and my skin does appear softer and smoother, it has had no effect on the appearance of wrinkes or skintone.
