Haven't washed your oil-, sweat- and product-soaked hair in days? Avoid the greasy heebie-jeebies by spraying roots with colored starch. Really. This much-hyped styling aid -- essentially an aerosol spray of starch, chalk, fixatives and SD alcohol -- soaks up everything that gives hair that dirty, flat look. (Trade-off: It feels and looks like spray paint.) Available in five colors, the powder can mask light/gray roots, but not dark roots on light hair. ("Blondish" is brown, FYI.) Watch for falling pigment while applying.

Messy
This is the first dry shampoo that I saw and tried. I loved the idea and am now a dry shampoo fiend. This product just isn't on par with many of the others out there now. I'd love to see Bumble and Bumble rework this because so many of their other products are wonderful and they are capable of great things. I purchased this in the brown shade and the ONE good thing about these being in differe...read morent colors is that you won't get the white cast that so many dry shampoos leave. The horrible thing about a colored (spray) dry shampoo like this is the mess. It colors your actual scalp which does not look natural. Your bathroom will also be covered in this stuff and it isn't the easiest to wash away from your counter top, sink, walls, etc. The spray nozzle is quite stiff so you cannot control how much to spray so you usually end up spraying too much. I will say that this is good at soaking up excess oil from your scalp. My friend was using this as a dry shampoo while we were camping. I borrowed it and I did not like it at all. It was like using baby powder in my hair. Not very good
I used the brown in my hair, but I really hate the color added to the spray shampoo. It got all over my hands and face, along with my brush and comb. Would advise not to purchase.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
