Great for the price
ELF's Tone Correcting Concealer is great for the price--it's only $1! If you're looking for heavy coverage, this is not the concealer for you (don't use it on dark acne scars, it won't really cover them). But for lighter coverage and VERY minimal "tone correcting", it's not bad. Really, it's more like a very light foundation in terms of coverage. I didn't find it oily. The smell isn't bad--it would be okay for a scented lotion or something, but it feels a little odd to be putting orange-scented concealer on your face. The color is a tad orange-y for my skin, but isn't too bad after I put some mineral powder over it. The color is also a little dark--I bought the concealer in "Fair" even though my skin is more of a "light nude" tone and the concealer is still a little dark for my face. Overall, I'm not sure that I would buy this concealer again. For $1, it's a pretty good product, but as a concealer, it's definitely lacking. Cheap but amazing!!!!
By far, ELF has some of the best concealer in my opinion. They are so cheap but worth every penny. I love how this brightens up my face so much as if I'm glowing! Sheer coverage with an odd smell...
I love many of the elf products but found this one to be a tad disappointing. After reading some of the revies mentioning mold, I was a bit nervous to open the package. Lucky for me, no mold but a bit of an odd citrus smell as some have mentioned. It wasn't terrible but not great either.
