Santana, CEO and co-founder of The Glam App, a beauty-on-demand app that brings stylists and makeup artists to your door, is, unsurprisingly, a woman on the go. Luckily, she knows a thing or two about how to look flawless while darting cross-country for her next business meeting. Here, Santana shares her on-the-go beauty essentials.
Must-Haves:
"I'm a less-is-more type of girl, so every product I rely on when traveling is compact and doesn't take up much room. Plus, they allow me to look unencumbered on my plane ride, so I'm ready to hit the ground running the minute we land.
Dior Diorskin Nude BB Cream moisturizes [think: dry plane ride], and makes my skin bright and even for days. In fact, if I don't feel like wearing makeup, this has me covered [literally]. I normally pair this with Kate Somerville Daily Deflector Waterlight SPF 50 Sunscreen -- after all, safety first.
When it comes to my makeup routine, I want to ensure my makeup stays even with all the running around I'm doing, so I use my trusty black Beautyblender to apply BB cream and foundation, and clean up smudges throughout the day. It's the only way I'm guaranteed even coverage. Afterwards, I usually swipe on Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara -- it's the perfect product for [pumping up] my lashes without the clumping, and leaves them looking long and clean -- which I prefer. I'm also all about my brows. In fact, I can't leave the house without them combed. So, I use the Secret Service Wax Brow Comb to keep them in line.
To add some color to my complexion (especially in warmer locations), I use a dime-size amount of St. Tropez Skin Illuminator and instantly become a little more brown (and a little less yellow).
