Salted Caramel Cutie Salty-sweet is one of our flavor combinations, and this salted caramel mug cake hits the spot. All it takes is eight ingredients and three minutes of your time.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
4 tablespoons plain flour
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons salted caramel sauce (either from the store or this homemade recipe)
Directions:
Put butter into mug and microwave for 10 seconds to melt. Add egg and milk, and lightly whisk with a fork until combined.
Add dry ingredients and whisk until mixed. Add a tablespoon of salted caramel to the top of the mixture (this will sink to the middle as it cooks).
Cook in the microwave for 1 minute on medium heat. Remove, and drizzle the top with the second tablespoon of salted caramel.
